THE ORDER OF WORSHIP: (Matins – Congregation responds with bold print)
In the name of the Father, Son, & Holy Ghost, O Lord, open Thou my lips.
And my mouth shall show forth Thy praise.
Make haste, O God, to deliver me.
Make haste to help me, O LORD. Glory be to the Father and to the
Son and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in
the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, forevermore. Amen.
Hallelujah!

Oh, come, let us worship the Lord:
For He is our Maker.
THE LITURGICAL SONG: Psalm 348 interspersed with Let all things now living.
P: I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my
mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and
be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.
(Psalm 34)
C: Let all things now living A song of thanksgiving To God the creator
triumphantly raise,
P: I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked
to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man
cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
C: Who fashioned and made us, Protected and stayed us, Who still guides us on
to the end of our days.
P: The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers
them.
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
C: God’s banners are o’er us, His light goes before us, A pillar of fire
shining forth in the night,
P: Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.
The young
lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any
good thing.
C: Till shadows have vanished And darkness is banished, As forward we travel
from light into light.
P: Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Who is the man
who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue
from evil,
And your lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace,
and pursue it.
C: His law He enforces, The stars in their courses And sun in its orbit
obediently shine;
P: The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their
cry. The face
of the LORD is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them
from the earth.
C: The hills and the mountains, The rivers and fountains, The deeps of the
ocean proclaim Him divine.
P: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all
their troubles.
The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a
contrite spirit.
C: We too should be voicing our love and rejoicing; With glad adoration a
song let us raise
P: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out
of them all. He
guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked, And
those who hate
the righteous shall be condemned. The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And
none of
those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
C: Till all things now living Unite in thanksgiving: “To God in the
highest, hosanna and praise!”

O LORD, we are sinful but O Lord have mercy upon us.
O Lord, we deserve Your wrath but O Lord have mercy upon us.
Thanks be to Thee, O LORD!
The collect for grace: O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and
everlasting
God, who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day, defend us in
the same with Your mighty power and grant that this day we fall into no sin,
neither run into any kind of danger, but that all our doing, being ordered
by Your governance, may be righteous in Your sight; through Jesus Christ,
Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Ghost, ever
one God forevermore. (Organ) Amen

Revelation 22:12-21

12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. (ESV)
